First Look: Family Guy Spinoff, The Cleveland Show

Good morning, Cleveland!

A first look at TV auteur Seth MacFarlane’s newest project, The Cleveland Show, has surfaced online.

The show, a spinoff of MacFarlane’s animated  comedy Family Guy, follows the adventures of Cleveland Brown, deli owner and neighbor of FG’s main character, Peter Griffin.

Judging from the intro (embedded right), this show looks to be more of the standard MacFarlane fare: a plethora of pop culture references, crass jokes and loads of toon nudity.

MacFarlane recently landed a deal with Fox to crank out new shows and online content through 2010 to the tune of $100 million.

Penned by MacFarlane, Mike Henry (who supplies Cleveland’s voice) and The Simpsons alum Rich Appel, The Cleveland Show is the first series under MacFarlane’s heavyweight deal.
