Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, is a brave man. Rather than give a prepared commencement speech at U.C. Berkeley today, he says he's going to "wing it."
Well, he's got a got a rough idea of what he's going to talk about: Using the internet for the power of good.
He's also got some basic do's and don'ts: Never read a prepared speech unless you're really good at it; read Dilbert for a good perspective on corporate life; and brevity is the soul of wit.
That'll kill at least five minutes if he talks really slow.
