The "Oscars of the Internet" announced winners Tuesday for achievements in website design, interactive advertisements and digital content.

Among this year’s lauded in the category of Online Video: the Starz Bunnies, hyperactive, cartoon parodies of films like Fight Club, Pulp Fiction and Titanic; Little Minx, a series of web shorts based around collaborative film-makings and West Side, a compelling, urban western drama serial.

The People’s Voice category, which awarded wins based on user votes, showcased a bevy of the homespun, viral crazes popular on the YouTube circuit.  Tay Zonday’s video for "Chocolate Rain," and the LonelyGirl15 series both snagged wins.

The Webby Online Film and Video Awards will be presented at a gala hosted by Saturday Night Life celeb Seth Meyers, on June 9 in New York.

Wired.com’s Picks from the Webbys:

Winner: Wainy Days Award:  Comedy Series Run-down: ADD-abstraction humor full of non sequiturs, bizarre plot arcs, spontaneous dance routines and filthy outbursts courtesy of The State-alum and Wet Hot American Summer writer, David Wain. Keep your eyes peeled for comedian cameos like Paul Rudd, Michael Showalter and Steve Agee.

Winner: Hometown Baghdad Award: News & Politics Series Run-down: A gritty, sobering look at the lives of several twenty-somethings living in  the Green Zone. Shot entirely by an Iraqi film crew, the show follows a group of students and artists navigating their daily lives in a war zone.

Winner: You Suck at Photoshop Award: How-to and DIY Series Run-down: Narrated by the eternally frustrated and hilariously spastic Donnie Hoyle, these instructional Photoshop tutorials are good for both laughs and tips.

Winner: Diggnation Award: Technology, People’s Voice  Run-down: This techie vlog takes cues from the top Dugg stories each week with couchside commentary by Digg-founder Kevin Rose and co-host Alex Albrecht.

Winner: Here Comes Another Bubble Award: Viral Run-down: This clever clip by Bay Area choral group sparked a copyright controversy for mixing original imagery with photos found online. Set to the bouncy tune of Billy Joel’s "We Didn’t Start the Fire," the short video parodies the Web 2.0 craze.
