Less than a week after hitting retail shelves Age of Conan has already amassed "more than 400,000" subscribers, according to a press release issued by Funcom Monday morning.
Funcom also points out that traffic to the game's official site saw a substantial increase: topping "2.2 million unique visitors over the last ten days."
Of course, mere numbers do not necessarily indicate a game's quality, and for those who absolutely demand the opinion of those of us who are paid to provide them, Funcom adds "the first 20 reviews give Age of Conan an average score above 90 percent."
Our review of Age of Conan will be coming very soon, but in the meantime we've already written up a set of mostly positive impressions on the title.
