Meth_2 Rapper Method Man, who has appeared on HBO show The Wire as well as films like *Garden State, How High *and Soul Plane, is gearing up to make his first cartoon appearance.

The graphic novel features Meth as superhero alter-ego and titular character, Mosley Pain, a detective turned "murder priest" who hunts mystical creatures. DC Comics and Darkhorse illustrator Sanford Greene is inking the artwork.

Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch blog had a sneak preview of the first 8 pages of Method Man:

"There's an evil sea monster dwelling in the underground sewer system ... And man, did that thing pick the wrong kung-fu-obsessed rapper to mess with. In the excerpt, Method Man — er, his thinly veiled alter ego, mystical detective/'murder priest' Mosley
