It's not exactly a lifestyle magazine for those of us who like our source open. But Open Source Living, the application directory that Calore mentioned back in December, is out of beta.
I think OSL has the potential to be the sort of friendly resource the community needs.
It's got a sleekly serifed, WordPress-driven new look, with forums, a small but growing directory of software, and a promising blog called Sourced. Sourced is looking for contributors, so if you feel the Compiler comments box is getting too small for your ideas, this could be your chance.
