Pixar and Disney’s upcoming film about the last robot on a deserted Earth, Wall-E, is essentially a love story.
In this new four-minute featurette, Wall-E writer and director Andrew Stanton explains the intricacies of personifying automatons, the universal quest for the unknown and rebooting humanity.
The clip, right, is also full of crisp new footage and closer look at relationship between the titular robot and the object of his affection, a probe sent to Earth.
Wall-E hits theaters June 27.
