Talkshoe connects its users telephones to an online webcasting interface, allowing anyone who can figure out how to dial a phone publish their own podcasts. There's all sorts of archived audio to listen to, from scooter-oriented talkshows to an interview with Alice Cooper, in which describes his restaurant (whenever someone orders the two-feet-long hot dog, lights and sirens go off).

The site also includes a fair amount of music shows and music talk shows – audio drum lessons, a show dedicated to Prince and interviews big-time and medium-time artists.

If you find something you like, Talkshoe lets you subscribe using iTunes, an RSS reader or the site itself. Aside from functioning as an easy audio publishing platform, Talkshoe lets anyone set up or join live group chats with other users for free.

I stumbled across some interesting and entertaining stuff while testing Talkshoe, although I wish more of the music DJs would announce the titles of the songs they play, and that shows could be embedded on outside sites (at least there's a Facebook app).
