The revamped PlayStation Store is up and running, but the re-launch didn't go off entirely without a hitch.
For some users, the Store's thumbnail icons are taking eons to download, as you can see in this video from Videogamer.com.
Sony Europe's Community Liaison Lestrade chalked it up to a "temporary consequence of a new system implementation and high global traffic levels" and said the issue would be resolved in a few days.
Although the icons take a while to show up, text descriptions of everything appear immediately, so the store is still quite usable. That said, without the icons, it's difficult to know how much is available without simply highlighting every single slot and waiting to see whether or not a text box pops up.
