Internet superstar Tay Zonday has set his sights on being Paris Hilton’s best friend.
In a campy move that could make for an utterly hilarious reason — and possibly the only one — to watch yet another MTV reality show, the baby-faced "Chocolate Rain" crooner has answered an online casting call for the hotel heiress’ upcoming series, I Wanna Be Paris’ New Best Friend.
But is Zonday’s online celebrity enough to make the leap from the small screen to prime time? The audition reel (right) is less than inspiring and doesn’t reveal any television-worthy nuggets.
Only time will tell — so far, the web celeb has netted more than 100,000 votes, and is currently in third place for show consideration.
