Painting a white line and a diamond is not enough to keep drivers out of dedicated transit lanes. Some cities have attached cameras to the front of their buses to nab any violators. Manchester, however, installed rise-and-fall bollards to prevent unauthorized vehicles to enter into certain streets. These 3-feet high posts lower into the road when a bus approaches and rise after it passes. In the United States, this would seem like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
