Harmonix really wants to provide downloadable Rock Band content for the Nintendo Wii, but the lack of storage space makes it impossible, says design director Rob Kay.
"The whole problem is there's nowhere to store it," Kay told CVG. "If the platform could do it, we'd jump on it", he continued. "It's something that we championed to Nintendo, that we'd like to do it."
"Come on Nintendo, we need a hard drive. That's what we want," said Kay.
Back in October, when Chris asked Nintendo's Perrin Kaplan about the Wii's tiny storage space, she compared it to a fridge, saying "if your refrigerator's full, you've got to pull something out and put something else back in. That's just the normal issue of space. I mean, really, are you using every single thing on there?"
Looks like Harmonix is in favor of a bigger fridge, too, but Nintendo is going to do whatever Nintendo wants to do.
