If you're counting down the days until you can finally enter Age of Conan's violent, provocative virtual world, consider springing for a pre-order: Funcom just revealed that everyone who pre-orders the game will be eligible to enter the world three days early.
Of course, this pre-order offer isn't just a gimmick to generate free will. Along with the announcement in the recent Clan of Conan newsletter, the game's developers stated that handing over your cash to the team early "also allows Funcom to better scale and prepare our systems for your arrival."
So, even if early gameplay isn't enough to tempt you, maybe you should pre-order just to ensure that the game doesn't collapse under the immense launch day player rush. That's the polite thing to do.
