In a new update for investors, Funcom has finally, officially revealed the pricing scheme for the upcoming Age of Conan.
According to the update, players will be plunking down $60 (€50) for a retail boxed copy and shelling out $15 (€13 plus VAT where applicable) per month to spend time in the Conan universe.
The update also makes mention of an upcoming "open" beta for the game. Beginning May 1, Fileplanet.com users will have a chance to become one of the 50,000 beta testers selected to assist in a stress test of the game.
The selection process has not been revealed, but presumably beta keys will be handed out at random to interested gamers.
