Turning Point: Fall of Liberty *hasn't fared well with reviewers so far, prompting CEO Craig Allen to say developer Spark Unlimited did the best it could "with the time and money we had."

The game has received a lukewarm response from reviewers, Allen explained to VideoGamer.com, because they're simply not looking at it the right way.

Rather than focusing on the game's "high concept," or examining whether the game is any fun, critics are questioning whether the game is revolutionary, innovative, or driving technology.

"It was never meant to do those things," said Allen.

"If people look at it in the right way, I think they really enjoy what they see. You can certainly look at it and say it's not revolutionary, so those opinions are certainly a lot more critical," he continued.

Disappointed though they may be with the critics' responses to* Turning Point*, Spark Unlimited has put that behind them and is focused on making their next project, Legendary, even better. Well, maybe not "better," per se. Says Allen, "I think it's different. It depends on what your valuation criteria is." Way to build the anticipation, Craig.
