A new service by the name of Quotably sorts the unorganized mess that is Twitter into threaded conversations that anyone can follow.

One of Twitter's standout features is it's absolute simplicity — you can post 140 character messages and that's about it. However, Twitter's simplicity is also a bit annoying at times — try following a single conversation and you'll find it quickly becomes a jumbled mess.

Quotably solves that issue by tracking Twitter conversations and rearranging the messages to display them in a threaded view.

To use the site just plugin a Twitter username and you'll see all the conversations that person has participated in recently. In the screenshot above I plugged in the prolific Twitterer Robert Scoble to get a threaded view of his conversations.

For those tracking Twitter via RSS, just tack “.rss” on the end of any Quotably URL and you'll get a feed.

Naturally you can follow Quotably on Twitter for updates and to suggest new features.
