Indie music news site Pitchfork Music is taking the plunge into online video. The Chicago-based site is planning to feature vintage concerts, artist mini-docs, basement and backyard band sessions, as well as videos.
Each week, Pitchfork.tv will showcase full-length feature films, everything from the Pixies' 2004 reunion tour film LoudQuietLoud to Ultimate Reality, Dan Deacon and Jimmy Joe Roche's electro-spazzy psychedelic lovefest dedicated to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for the launch, scheduled for April 7 -- if it's as good and high-resolution as it sounds like it might be, we're going to be all over it.
