The dollar is falling, oil prices are rising and there's a gas station down the street charging $3.95 a gallon. That's crazy even for San Francisco, where we're used to paying more for gas than anyone else in America.
If you aren't shelling out that kind of cash every time you fill up, you will be. Gas prices are at a record high and we're looking at $3.50 or even four bucks a gallon by summer.
So - how much are you paying? Use the Reddit widget below to submit your best gas-price photo and vote for your favorite. Feel free to have a little fun with it - "best" is a subjective term.
The photo must be your own, and by submitting it you give us permission to is use it on Wired.com and in Wired magazine. If you're using Flickr, Picasa or another photo-sharing site to host your image, you'll have to provide a link to the image directly and not just to the photo page where it's displayed.
Bookmark this page and check back frequently to vote on new submissions. We’ll announce the winner and a prize of some kind on March 20th.
