Doom and Assault Heroes are the latest games to be added to Xbox Live Arcade's Hits roster, and their prices are being slashed accordingly.
Starting Wednesday, it will cost you a mere 400 points (that's five bucks in the real world) to add either of these games to your Arcade game library.
Microsoft also gave us a peek at some upcoming additions to Xbox Live Arcade, including Rocky & Bullwinkle, a collection of mini-games starring moose and squirrel, puzzle game Tiqal, in which you save an ancient Mayan village by matching colored blocks (well how else would you do it?), and the game whose purchase makes you eligible to beta test Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.
Of personal interest was Wits & Wagers, the first trivia game to find its way to the Arcade, which will hopefully satisfy my demands for an online trivia game. It's tricky to get a trivia game just right. If the questions are too hard, the players feel stupid and don't have any fun, but if they're too easy, then no-one feels challenged.
