Awkward teen moments are transformed into hilarious comics, thanks to Pathetic Geek Stories, a weekly webcomic that features embarrassing gaffs, blunders and mortifying moments from adolescence.
Whether portraying hilarious high school gaffes or classic moments from sex-ed classes, what makes each PGS so fascinatingly endearing is that each woeful tale of humiliation is based on a reader submitted story. Back in publication after a lengthy hiatus, the strip is illustrated by Maria Schneider, a staff writer at satirical news site The Onion.
Think of it as free therapy -- the strip adds enough humor and candor to each blunder, misstep and occasional wedgie to recycle even the most humiliating memory into a laughable affair.
