Microsoft has quietly released a Car Pack to connect its Zune media player to car stereos, and the word is there's not much in the package you couldn't duplicate with some cheap generic adapter from Radio Shack. The kit is an FM transmitter that beams a signal from the Zune to your antenna, a tried and true solution for driving yourself nuts in urban areas with crowded airwaves.
One potential advantage of the $80 kit, though, is that the big Zune logo would advertise to potential thieves that there's a Zune in your ride, possibly inspiring them to break into somebody else's car.
