Sony is quietly preparing to launch a slimmer, trimmer PS3, says tech site T3 (not to be confused with the terrible Terminator movie starring Claire Danes).
T3 says they got the tip from "a particularly well-informed insider" during CES last month. They also theorize that this trimmer PS3, which they guess will debut this Fall, will be host to a massive 160 GB hard drive. Rumors of a 120 GB PS3 are so earlier this week!
That's pretty much all they have to say, though they do throw in an artist's rendering of what a PS3 slim might look like. A slim PS3 is almost certainly coming, but this Fall? That seems a bit quick to me.
