Not everything at PMA is awesome, cutting edge tech-porn. The upper floor of the show houses the lower-budget exhibitors, two of which had some especially spiffy products that tickled our fancy.
The folks at Media Street spent some serious time scouring Asia for some really cool tech. Check out these two gems:
This little dude here is Dick Tracy-esque "Digital Photo Frame
Watch." Sorry, it doesn't have an integrated radio, but it does have a
USB port and a 1.5-inch LCD screen which you can use to display your favorite photos with... on your freakin' wrist!
A slightly more utilitarian (although not quite as interesting)
product is the solar powered Emotion media player. It can also act as a charger for you other electronic devices, which ironically, may also play your media.
Ever been to one of those shady budget electronics stores? You know the ones where they have row after row after row of off-brand ubiquitous media players? Wonder who makes those devices? Turns out a lot of them are made by company called Visual Land. Apparently, they also have a new cell phone that looks suspiciously like a certain handset that hails from Cupertino. But would they let me take a picture of it? Heck no.
