The Xbox Originals lineup will expand by nearly 50 percent when Black, Ninja Gaiden Black and Sid Meier's Pirates! are added next Monday. How much more black could a list of games get? None more black.
Each title is a downloadable version of the original Xbox game, and will cost you $15 (1200 points).
In case you're not familiar, Black is one of those games that's just perfect for those days when all you want to do is shoot thousands upon thousands of virtual bullets without having to put much thought into it. (See also: Serious Sam.)
Ninja Gaiden Black, which bundles Ninja Gaiden with the contents of the two Hurricane expansion packs as well as ramping up the overall difficulty, is for those days when you find yourself saying,
"Gee, I haven't been humiliated by a game in a really long time and my thumbs don't hurt at all."
Sid Meier's Pirates!, though not at all black, is best played on those days you want to engage in thrilling ship-to-ship battles, search for buried treasure, and dance, dance, dance. You won't get to tell anyone they fight like a cow, and it's strictly BYOG (bring your own grog), but a fantastic game, just the same.
All in all, very nice additions to the roster
