A question in Rare's community letters page about when we might see a new Viva Pinata game led Master Justin the Designer to drop a hint about an unannounced project:

The Viva Piñata team is working on a new title that we hope to be able to tell you about soon, and should be in the shops before the end of the year (it's not Banjo). I'm going to hide now as I've almost definitely given away too much information. Too late... No, Uncle Tusker, don't make me watch Tom Hanks in The Da Vinci Code again... please...

Could be worse, Justin. Uncle Tusker could make you play The Da Vinci Code.

This doesn't give us much to go on, and it certainly doesn't guarantee that the project in question is anything that we should be getting excited about, but it's enough to make us cock an eyebrow at the very least. So, any guesses as to what it might be?
