On Valentine’s Day we brought you news that Cryptic Studios had started work on a title called Champions Online, the company’s first superhero MMO since selling City of Heroes, and now we bring you the above footage of the game’s first trailer.
After that footage, does anyone else get the feeling that this game would have been called City of Heroes 2 if only Cryptic still owned the license?
The spiritual successor is tentatively set to ship for both PC and Xbox 360 platforms in Spring of 2009.
