EA's CEO John Riccitiello admits that his company is still having trouble developing the PS3 versions of its multiplatform titles.
During a conference call to announce EA's financial earnings, Riccitiello said, "[I]n circumstances where we either led on the Xbox 360 or ran parallel production, for the most part, we're still experiencing some delay on the PS3. It's a little bit more of a challenging development environment for us."
The problem has improved recently, but Riccitiello said that the team still has some "catching up to do on the engineering side for the PS3."
Riccitiello added that EA has had "no issue at all" with games for which the PS3 was the lead platform, such as Burnout.
