Sega has announced plans to open a number of indoor amusement parks similar to Japan's Joypolis throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Sega will be building the parks in shopping malls owned by Dubai properties firm Emaar. The first location, which will include an indoor roller coaster and arcade machines, will be developed in the Dubai Mall, which already has a movie theater and an Olympic-sized skating rink. I, meanwhile, don't have access to so much as a Dave & Buster's down here in Durham, NC. There is no justice.

The Dubai Mall is scheduled to open later this year.
