Panasonic is ready to take a stab at integrating WiFi into a digital camera. There's no name or street date for the device yet, but Panasonic was showing a prototype at CES and is expected to have more details at the PMA photo trade show late this month.

Looks like they'll go the same hapless, browser-free route as Nikon and offer only limited connectivity via T-Mobile and Picasa. The question now has to be is this really necessary, since WiFi has been integrated so successfully into SD cards that will work with just about any camera?
