In an interview with French news site TF1, Naughty Dog president Christophe Balestra mentions that his team will soon be working on sequel to PS3 title Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Sony has so far remained mum on the subject of a follow up.

Good, if not terribly surprising, news. Uncharted has been very well received and as such is a valuable exclusive for the PS3, making the sequel all but inevitable.

I played through Uncharted over the holiday break and personally found it to be wildly entertaining. Besides being decidedly easy on the eyes, its blend of extremely well-done storytelling and fast paced action makes you feel like you're inside an Indiana Jones movie.

There are definitely some flaws--the camera is problematic at times and
I found the jetski levels to be a serious drag--but I was happy to forgive them in exchange for the chance to search for El Dorado with
Nathan Drake.

Many games favor the blank slate everyman or the aloof loner as their lead character, but Nate is charming and likable, the kind of guy you'd hang out with even when you weren't hunting for treasure.
Perfectly acted and easy to root for, he's well-suited to become the centerpiece of a long-running franchise. I'm glad we'll get to spend more time with him, even if it won't be for a few years.

Also, when they make the *Uncharted *movie--and you know they will--if there is any justice in the world, Nathan Fillion will nab the lead role.
