After a review of the Atlantis space shuttle's flight readiness Wednesday, NASA officials have given a green light to the rescheduled launch on Feb. 7, at 2:45 pm Eastern Time.
The shuttle has been grounded since December, when a series of malfunctioning fuel gauges resulted in a canceled launch. Engineers have since modified the connectors that were resulting in the false gauge readings.
The only problem still facing launch is resolution of an apparently minor problem found Wednesday, in which a radiator hose was found improperly retracted into its storage box.
The 11-day shuttle mission is slated to carry the European Columbus science module to the International Space Station.
