Empire Interactive has announced that it will be bringing the DS version of Myst to North America in March. The well-known and much-played game has been given a facelift for its DS debut, including enhanced environments, re-mastered video, and the brand new Rime Age to explore.
You'll also be provided with a new set of tools to help you with your quest, including a magnifying glass, map, notebook and (insert choir of angels) a camera that will let you take snapshots for future reference. The photos and the ability to take notes should make it much easier to solve those puzzles that send you wandering back and forth across the Ages.
I've played Myst any number of times, but I'm still quite excited about its release on the DS, paricularly the addition of the new Age. I never did finish Riven; perhaps someone will find a way to squeeze it onto a DS cartridge, too.
