One of Asia's winter highlights is in danger of becoming a festival on the run. As the BBC reports, climate change looks to be seriously affecting China's Ice Festival, which draws huge crowds to the artworks in the country's coldest city, Harbin. The art usually melts gracefully into February, but experts reckon the intricately carved works might not last that long.

There are major implications for the tourist industry - this year's tally of foreign visitors is expected to hit 150,000. The UC Berkeley-based China Digital Times clips the latest from Reuters which flags up a "sweating sculptures" problem going back six years.
