Of all the wacky iPod docks at the show, I found myself irresistibly drawn to the iSound Plasma, which coordinates a plasma light show inside a glass globe to sync up with the music from your MP3 player (although it works best with the iPod, due to the shape of the dock.) And, of course, it lets you do that thing where you touch the globe to attract the glowing tendrils inside.
You certainly wouldn't mistake the sound of this 4-speaker dock for that of an audiophile system, but using a splitter, it'd be possible to route audio to both your sound system and the iSound Plasma to enjoy the plasma effect even more.
The dock is available now for $150 (MSRP -- a spokesman said you can definitely find it for less).
