The clip above is a presentation of the first in-game footage of upcoming MMOFPS The Agency straight from the floor of CES 2008.
While it won’t rival the stunning inclusion of Yoda and latter-day Anakin in Soul Calibur IV, the title’s combination of Counterstrike-esque tactical gameplay, No One Lives Forever-style spy parody and vague Team Fortress 2-inspired art style certainly seems intriguing.
Obviously, the biggest hurdle for the game is trying to compete simultaneously with FPS titles like Halo and MMOs like World of Warcraft, but at the very least its unique setting and style should be enough to carve out a small niche for the title (assuming it isn’t a complete disaster on launch).
