According to Games for Windows magazine, Alone in the Dark's release date has been pushed back yet again, this time to September.
The game's page on Atari's website still lists its release date as "Fiscal year 07/08," which reflects Alone in the Dark's most recent target release of March. It was originally scheduled to come out late last year, but got moved to March last August.
CVG's preview of the PS3 version says that if developer Eden pulls off everything they want to, Alone in the Dark could be "one of the defining moments in the horror genre." Given how ambitious the game is, I wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't make it out in 2008 at all.
