As the whole world now knows, Blackwater killed the New York Times' dog, which is actually kind of funny in a twisted way if you think about how much effort Blackwater has put into PR these past few months. But it turns out, the New York Times bureau in Baghdad had a reputation for housing the hounds of hell.
Iraqslogger's Eason Jordan reports that he was actually the victim of a New York Times dog attack. Jordan writes: "The attacker: Scratch, one of The New York Times' Baghdad bureau dogs, whose vicious bite opened three deep gashes in my right hand, sending blood spewing in all directions." He also notes other alleged New York Times dog attacks.
