The first public trailer for the upcoming Stargate Worlds MMO will debut during the Jan. 4 episode of Stargate Atlantis on the Sci-Fi Channel.
In addition to the first look at this so-far mysterious MMO, Sci-Fi Channel and Stargate Worlds developer Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment will be holding a sweepstakes beginning Jan. 11 that will give viewers of Stargate Atlantis the chance to have their "image or likeness" added to the MMO.
I've always thought the Stargate universe was perfect for being converted into an MMO and I'm hoping the trailer proves me correct. Also, I'm hoping beyond hope that Kurt Russell wins that sweepstakes, if only because I think it might tear a hole in the time-space continuum.
