Music bloggers the earthosphere over are posting their lists of the best songs of 2007. Folks have been compiling these year-end lists since the beginning of time, but normally, you have to cut-and-paste the song information into BitTorrent, YouTube, Google, a music subscription service, or all of the above in order to hear the songs they mention.
Imeem, which recently scored a licensing deal with the one major label that had previously eluded it, now has the ability to make these lists actually playable, one after the other, for free. Click the Play button next to any of the music bloggers or the participating celebrities, and you'll be able to stream their entire list.
In almost all cases, the full version of the song will play (as opposed to a 30-second sample). As far as year-end "best of" music lists go, this is close being the killer app:

(I'm working my way through Patton Oswalt's list now... who knew that such a big comic book nerd could also be a music nerd... or that the Cardigans released an album this year?)
