The above clip shows off the player’s very first steps in the upcoming MMOFPS Huxley, and while the title shows promise, at best it looks like an awkward version of Unreal Tournament.
Huxley is currently under development by South Korea’s Webzen and is set to be released at an unannounced date during the coming year, assuming it isn’t delayed again.
While the MMOFPS genre has never had the success of its RPG brethren, from the looks of things in Huxley, if they can code it so that hundreds (or thousands) of people can all have a lag-free firefight, it could be huge. Though, if they continue delaying it, people will lose all interest no matter how good the end result is.
