A picture may be worth a thousand words, but we can't quite say the same about these pre-auto-show renderings automakers keep issuing. Well, now it's Honda's turn. The company has released this cartoony air-brush rendering of its next-generation Pilot sport-utility vehicle. Beyond noting that it will have "bolder styling," Honda is sharing nothing else about the car, which is to be unveiled in the metal at January's North American International Auto Show in Detroit. However tempting it may to use Honda's tight lips as an opportunity to speculate wildly, we'll refrain, except to note that contrary to optimistic rumors, the future Pilot is unlikely to employ a V-8 engine; it almost certainly will use a somewhat larger, certainly more powerful version of the 3.5-liter V-6 in the current car (pictured above).
