*Fury *Though you've probably never heard of Fury (much less purchased the thing), starting this Friday you'll be able to play the MMORPG completely free of charge.

Good news for cheap gamers, not-so-good news for the employees of developer Auran, who has seen rumors of a "restructuring" in the media recently.

As Auran CEO Tony Hilliam told Kotaku Australia today, the Brisbane developer "will... have some bad news to follow (unless a miracle occurs)."

The December 14th patch will introduce the "Chosen" player type, a group that will be able to play the game completely free of charge, but will accrue gold and experience points at a slower rate than those who pay for the $10/month "Immortal Subscription."

After Fury's sub-par performance at retail, and a story on Aussie insider website Angry Gamer that claimed Auran would be laying off a large number of its workforce, Hilliam's impending bad news seems ominous.

Hilliam has claimed the Angry Gamer story was merely rumor, but he has also mentioned there will be some kind of "restructuring" at the development house, with more details to follow later this week.
