Apple allegedly is threatening to put the hurt on Singapore retailers selling unlocked iPhones. The Straits Times published details of an e-mail sent to stores in the Sim Lim Square electronics district advising them that unlocking the imported phones violates the software license and could subject them to fines of around $700 for each phone unlocked.
