Maj. Gen. George W. Weightman, a physician who works in the Army surgeon general's office in Falls Church, Va., will command both Fort Detrick and the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command headquartered there...

Weightman wasn't the biggest villain of the Walter Reed scandal. The guy had only been there six months before the Post started its series of exposes. His predecessor, Lt. Gen Kevin Kiley, was in charge of the place for years, and didn't lift a finger -- despite repeated Congressional complaints. Donald Rumsfeld's wife (and, presumably, Rummy himself) knew there were shenanigans going on at Walter Reed, too.
