The dramatic follow-up to the Cross Coupé Quattro concept shown at this year's Shanghai Motor Show (see it here and here), Audi's Cross Cabriolet Quattro concept loses the top and rear doors, but keeps the Coupe's all-wheel-drive, 265-series knobby tires on 21-inch wheels, and height-adjustable suspension. Under the hood, a 3.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection diesel V-6 produces 240 horsepower and a stout 368 pound-feet of torque. Whereas the Cross Coupe Quattro is poised to debut as the production Q5 (here in L.A., in fact), it's a safe assumption that the sun won't shine for too long on the Cross Cabriolet.
