As if the run-of-the-mill Viper SRT10 weren't absurd or unconscionable enough, Dodge now unleashes the lighter, racier, and tacky-beyond-all-common-sense American Club Racing (ACR) version of the coupe. Like the standard car (pictured above in coupe and roadster form), the ACR uses an 8.4-liter V-10 producing 600 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque, giving it the ability to outrun — and out-drink — damned-near anything out there. The car, which remains street-legal despite its race-readiness, will be priced just below $100,000. It's splashed with feathery carbon fiber composite and forged aluminum parts to save weight, and all manner of splitters, wings, and fins to keep it pressed to the asphalt at speeds approaching 200 mph.
