You don't tend to appreciate an on/off switch until you acquire a gadget that doesn't have one, such as the Lexmark printer I gladly ditched last year. The Brit arm of CNET has obviously endured more than a few such items, hence their loving gallery of the top 10 off switches.
We're surprised that the original Clapper isn't included, but maybe that's a British thing.
