Greencar1 In Jan. '09, a 10-day carbon-neutral road race will be held in Africa. Stretching 2500 miles the Zero Rally will be open to vehicles of the electric, solar, biofuel, hybrid and hyrdogen variety. The race begins up north and concludes down in Cape Town with a renewable energy expo (map after the jump). Since Alt-NRG races always seem focused on specific types of rides – i.e. solar – isn't it about time we pitted all the alternative whips against each other in one mega-green race? Will electric prove once and for all it shouldn't have been killed?
