Researchers observed gorillas in the Cross River area of Cameroon throwing sticks, clumps of earth and stones at human "invaders". It is the first time that the largest of the great apes has been seen to use tools in an aggressive way.*

Frankly, I think they're making too much out of this. I remember hearing about monkeys throwing their own feces at medical researchers in laboratories, and it didn't quite lead to an uprising. If gorillas figure out how to make bio-weapons, then I'll be impressed.
