Welly welly welly, looks like Microsoft isn't the only one who can release a media player featuring a touchpad these days. Today Haier unleashes the Ibiza Rhapsody on the world. Not to be confused with the hoity-toity resort destination of the same name, this Linux based media player comes to us with 30GB and a $330 price tag. We decided to take her for a spin today and see what she could do. But first, how 'bout some specs?

It's also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible. The integrated web browser actually works surprisingly well — it's one of the best I've used on a
PMP. Ever. It's simple to connect to the internet and easy to type on using the touchpad. (Although you can only select one letter at a time.) The OS is clean and rather easy to navigate about in — in fact it's a little easier than the Zune 2 (which wasn't bad mind you.)
Also of note though, is the player's rather ugly form factor. It's big, boxy and a tad on the heavy side. Aesthetics aside, the open platform and ample extras make this a rather impressive device right out of the box. We'll have a full on review where we drill down on media playback and Rhapsody service for you very soon, folks.
And trust us, it'll rawk.
